McMillan joins Sovereign Order of St. John
The Very Reverend Bruce McMillan, former Rector of Christ Church, Holly Springs and Associate for Hispanic Ministry at St. Peter’s, Oxford, was among 83 people invested into the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem Hospitallers in New York City on October 19, 2024 at the invitation of King Charles III, Sovereign Head of the Order. Father McMillan retired four years ago after twenty-five years as Rector of Christ Church and Dean of the Coldwater Convocation. He now serves three congregations in and around Sewanee, the Alumni Council of the University of the South, and is a member of the Franklin County, Tennessee Commission (Tennessee’s answer to a Board of Supervisors).
